Roland Antoine Strittmatter
January 25, 1937 – October 12, 2024
CONOVER, N.C. - Roland Antoine Strittmatter, 87, of Conover, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Carolina Caring in Newton.
He was born January 25, 1937 in Switzerland and retired as a chef. He enjoyed cooking for others and loved his dog, Lida.
Those left to cherish his memory is his wife of seven years April Lowe of the home; son Daniel Strittmatter of London; daughters Denise Strittmatter of Zurich, Switzerland, Yasmine Strittmatter of Zurich, Switzerland, Rhiannon Lowe of Beckley, W.Va.; grandchildren Conrad Strittmatter, Carla Strittmatter, Dalton, Summer, and Journey; special friends Cotton and Steve.
A memorial service to celebrate Roland’s life will be held at a later date.
