Ross Wayne Scoville
Ross Wayne Scoville, age 80, of Gun Powder Trail, Lincolnton passed away peacefully on February 2, 2025 at home surrounded by his family.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 10, 2025 at Alexis Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Jenkins officiating.. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:45 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mr. Scoville was born on December 20,1944 in Mannsville, New York. He was the son of the late Emory Howard Scoville and Ruth Clafin Glazier. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie Towles. He was a retired accountant, member of Alexis Baptist Church, and a veteran of the United States Navy 1963-1968. Ross loved his family, church, motorcycles and hunting.
Mr. Scoville is survived by his wife, Diane Scoville of the home; his daughter, Melissa Little (Nick Faulkenbury) of Lincolnton; his granddaughter, Ashley Little (Dylan DeProspero) of Florida; brother, Carl Scoville of Mannsville, NY and his sister, Vera “Tudy” Clark of Florida and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Alexis Baptist Church, 118 Alexis Church Road, Alexis, NC 28006.
Warlick Funeral Home in Lincolnton is serving the Scoville family.
