It is with hearts full of both sorrow and joy that we share the passing of Scott Bolick, who left us peacefully at the age of 75 on February 12, 2025, to join his eternal baseball game in the sky. Surrounded by his family, Scott passed away in his home, where his love for those around him shone brightly until the very end.
Scott leaves behind his four beloved children: Christy Setzer (Michael), Jill Zapadinsky (Steve), Tim Bolick, and Will Bolick (AnnMarie). He also cherished his three grandkids, Vince, Ally, and McCall, who brought him endless joy and laughter. A special mention goes to Jessica Smith, whose unwavering friendship and dedication made Scott’s life all the richer.
A proud U.S. veteran, Scott had a strong sense of duty and a heart full of kindness. He worked hard, but never forgot the importance of fun and joy. Whether it was belting out Beatles songs or dancing around the living room like no one was watching, Scott lived his life with an infectious energy and an open heart.
He was, without a doubt, the best father anyone could ask for, a steadfast friend, and a proud grandfather. In retirement, he found peace in the simple joys: sipping coffee on his porch with his furry best friend, Amos, by his side, watching the world go by.
Scott’s love and laughter will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew him. He was loved beyond measure and will be missed for eternity, but we take comfort in knowing that wherever he is, he’s probably up there making someone smile with a silly dance or a cheerful song.
Rest in peace, Scott. Your legacy of love, joy, and kindness will live on forever.
