William Peter Van Alstyne
September 21, 1957 – July 14, 2024
MAIDEN, N.C. - William Peter Van Alstyne, 66, of Maiden, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at his residence.
He was born September 21, 1957 in Albany, N.Y. to the late Peter Van Alstyne and Helen Campman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen Van Alstyne.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters Christine Van Alstyne-Collins and husband Erwin Collins of Maiden, Elizabeth Van Alstyne-Green and husband Antonio Green of Maiden; brother Ricky Van Alstyne; sisters Faye Jones, Lilly Patnode, Mary Atkins and Helen Herberts, all of Albany, N.Y.; grandchildren Alyssa Dennis, Danielle Dennis, Dorain Honeycutt and Nevaeh Collins.
A service to celebrate Billy’s life will be held at a later date.
