Betty Gene O’Kane Lykins
Betty Gene O’Kane Lykins, age 72, of Circle Drive in Lincolnton, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 24, 2025, in the Salem Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Greg Hager officiating.
Betty was born May 19, 1952, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Dorothy Wix. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Lee Lykins. She worked in textiles.
She is survived by her children, Sean Lykins of California, Matt Lykins (Temperance), and Crystal Ballenger (Steve) all of Lincolnton; grandchildren, Jedi Lykins, Nate Lykins, and Torie Lykins; and special friend, Sue Sherrill.
Warlick Funeral Home is serving the Lykins family.
