NEWTON, N.C. - Billie Glenn Brown Fish, age 86, of Newton passed away Sunday, August 18, 2024 at her daughter’s residence.

Born January 11, 1938 in Catawba County, she was the daughter of the late Glenn E. Brown and the late Lula Smith Rhodes. In addition to her parents, her husband, Howard F. Fish and her sister, Ann Rhodes preceded her in death.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Tammy Richard and husband, Jimmy of Newton; two grandchildren Brittany Stilwell and husband Scott of Hickory, Ashley Hicks and husband Michael of Statesville; five great-grandchildren Austin, Alexa and Wes Stilwell, Natalie and Ty Hatfield and their father A.J. Hatfield; brother Tracy Rhodes of Lincolnton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Lawings Chapel Baptist Church in Maiden with Rev. Jason Canipe officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10-10:45 a.m. at the church.
