Dorothy “Dottie” Wood Dellinger
Dorothy “Dottie” Wood Dellinger, of Lincolnton, passed from this life to her Eternal home on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
“Dottie” was born in Cleveland County to the late Brunie and Junie Green Wood. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Wood; and sisters, Lucille Ritchie and Ruth Poston. Dot was the former owner and operator of Carolina Hardware.
Surviving are her husband, Roy “Bob” Dellinger of the home; daughter, Sheila Reep (Mike Poole) of Lincolnton; son, Jeff Reep (Fran Wilson) of Lincolnton; grandchildren, Christina Drawdy (Brad Sain) of Lincolnton; great-grandchildren, Ava Drawdy, Natalee Sain, and Alex Sain; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Marvin United Methodist Church with Reverends Gerald and Sahara Hamilton, Rev. Bud Black, and Mr. Jerry Ritchie officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Warlick Funeral Home.
