NEWTON, N.C. - Ms. Dorothy Lee Gaither, 77, of Newton transitioned on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory.
She was born on November 21, 1946 to Richard Finger and Bessie Gaither McCorkle. She graduated from Ridgeview High School, Class f 1966. She retired from E.R. Carpenter. She was a member of Morning Star First Baptist Church.
Funeral service is Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Morning Star First Baptist Church with burial to follow. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
The family will be at the home of her sister, 163 12th Street Court SE, Hickory, NC.
The service will be live streamed on Morning Star First Baptist Church Facebook page.
