MT. HOLLY, N.C. - Gina Morrison, 67, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.

Gina was born on July 29, 1957 in Gaston County a daughter of the late Walter Winston Morrison and Brenda Scates Morrison. She was retired from Ithaca in Gastonia as a mechanic.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Terry Morrison.

Survivors include a son, Terry Neal Jr. of Cherryville; two daughters, Toscha Gilbert and husband Chad of Granite Falls, Dawn Costner and husband Steven of Cherryville; a sister, Melissa Fannin and husband Ken of Kings Mountain; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The family received friends from 10:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Lail officiating.

Burial followed the service at Mountain Rest Cemetery in Kings Mountain.
