Jet Skis Stolen In Lincoln County Recovered In Burke County

LINCOLNTON, N.C. – On August 7, 2024 Lt. K. Paris received a call from Sgt. Ball of the Burke County Sheriff’s Office concerning stolen jet skis from North Brook 3 School Rd. in Lincoln County.
Sgt. Ball advised that LCSO Det. J. Propst had reached out to him to be on the lookout for these jet skis. That information was passed along to Burke County officers and some had recalled seeing jet skis matching this description in the possession of two males.
Sgt. Ball advised that officers had been out with these individuals on July 24, 2024 operating these jet skis on a lake in their county and the jet skis had been run through Burke County Communications but did not come back as stolen at the time.
Burke County deputies located the jet skis and trailer at 7141 Knob Mountain Drive in Connelly Springs on August 7, 2024. LCSO Detective Woodard and Lt. K. Paris travelled to Connelly Springs and recovered the property.
Detectives have obtained possible suspect information, and the investigation is continuing.
