John Smith
June 22, 1947 – August 31, 2024
MAIDEN, N.C. - John Smith, age 77 of Maiden passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Carolina Caring of Sherrills Ford.
Born June 22, 1947 in Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Lewis Savannah Smith and Edith Lee Pruitt Smith. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, his brother, Dan Smith and brother-in-law, Monroe, Rikard preceded him in death.
Left to cherish his memory are two sisters Jane Gilbert and husband Jerry of Maiden, Carolyn Rikard of Lincolnton; brother Thurmond Smith and wife Sandy of Lincolnton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at later date.
