Lincoln Herald Thanks Emergency Personnel & Volunteers For Tireless Efforts Following Hurricane Helene

We encourage all residents to show their appreciation

LINCOLNTON, N.C. — In the wake of the severe storm powered by Hurricane Helene, Lincolnton and the surrounding Lincoln County communities have faced extensive damage, with thousands left without power and internet services. The storm, which brought high winds and heavy rainfall, uprooted trees, downed power lines and flooded rivers, creeks and streams, leaving many homes and roads in disrepair.

As the community begins to recover, The Lincoln Herald would like to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to the brave emergency service personnel and volunteers who have worked tirelessly during this crisis. These men and women have taken time away from their families, working long days and nights to restore power, clear debris, repair vital infrastructure and ensure the safety of every resident.

We encourage all residents to show their appreciation and support by commenting on this article and leaving messages of thanks on www.LincolnHerald.com. Let’s come together as a community to honor those who are putting our safety above their own.

For those who need to report damage please send an email to Lincoln County Emergency Management at stormdamage@lincolncountync.gov
