CONOVER, N.C. - Lisa Michelle Hinson, 51, of Conover passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024 at Atrium Health Wake-Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem.

She was born January 30, 1973 in Catawba County to Roger Hinson Sr. and Brenda Breeden Hinson of Conover. Lisa was a member of Springs Road Baptist Church in Hickory and employed with The Hickory Daily Record. She enjoyed crafting, cooking, reading, hiking, listening to music, working puzzles, gardening and traveling.

Lisa was preceded in death by her brother, Roger Dale Hinson Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons Christopher Connell of Swannanoa, Logan Connell of Lenoir; mother and father Roger Hinson Sr. and Brenda Hinson of Conover; additional family members Miranda, Jose, and Ethan Lopez; Jean, Troy, Robby, and Christopher Yount; Sandi, Sonia, Lori, and Michael Clark; Becky and Casey Breeden; Sandra, Jeff, Jerry, and Kelly Killian; Bobby Pittman; Regina, Doyle, Megan, and Dylan Tuttle; Charlene and Chris Sclilitt; Harold and Shirley Breeden; David and Carolynn Breeden.

A memorial service to celebrate Lisa’s life was held on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at 4 p.m. at Springs Road Baptist Church, 3580 Springs Rd. NE, Hickory. Rev. Jeff Brown officiated. The family received friends prior to the service from 3-3:45 p.m. at Springs Road Baptist Church.
