LINCOLNTON, N.C. - Martha “Joanne” Parker Finger, age 90, of Lincolnton, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 6, 2024, at Atrium Lincoln.

Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2024, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clay Ledford officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1-1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. 

Mrs. Finger was born September 16, 1934, to the late Alfred Decal Parker and Ruby Octavia Martin.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Dot Edwards, Jackie Parker, Linda Sigmon, Judy Arthur, Betty Parker, Floyd Parker, Johnny Parker, and Randy Parker. 

Left to treasure her memory are her daughters, Terry Darenda Finger and Susan Diane Wilson, both of Lincolnton; grandchildren, Abby Swengros (Brendan), John Finger, and Skylar Wilson; great-grandchildren, Atley Swengros, Aspen Swengros, Atlas Swengros, Aggie Swengros, Archer Swengros, and Bennett Bodon; and siblings, Nancy Hester, Patsy Reep, and Marty Parker. 

Memorials may be made to Victory Grove Baptist Church, 457 Victory Grove Church Road, Lincolnton, NC  28092.
