Nancy Julitha Fish Carpenter
June 26, 1946 – September 15, 2025
MAIDEN, N.C. - Nancy Julitha Fish Carpenter, age 79 of Maiden passed away Monday, September 15, 2025 at Cardinal Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Lincolnton.
She was born June 26, 1946 in Catawba County and was the daughter of the late James Marion Fish, Jr. and the late Cordelia Williams Fish. In addition to her parents, first husband, Paul Brown; second husband, Tony Carpenter and granddaughter, Kaylee Brown preceded her in death.
Left to cherish her memory: Daughter: Darlene Brown Carter of Maiden; Son: James William Brown of Lincolnton; three Grandchildren: Christopher Pressley; Damion Brown; Lori Benson; three Great-Grandchildren: Allison Benson; Paxton Benson & Leanna Pegram; Brother: Donald Fish and wife, Dot of Maiden; Canine Companion: Waylon.
The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to Crystal Smith for being an exceptional caregiver.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Burke Mortuary Chapel in Maiden with Pastor Zack Fox officiating.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 – 1:45 PM at the funeral home.
