IRON STATION, N.C. - Phyllis Ballard Reinhardt, age 80, of Iron Station, died on Wednesday, September 4, 2024.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3 p. m. on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at Ivey Memorial Methodist Church with Rev. Tim Byrd officiating.  Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall following the service.  

Phyllis was born November 1, 1943, in Gaston County, to the late Joseph William Ballard and Anna Ruth Galloway Ballard.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Forney Wilson “Bill” Reinhardt Jr., and brother, Joseph Donald Ballard.  Phyllis worked for Lincoln County Schools for 20 years and was a member of Ivey Memorial Methodist Church. 

She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Anne Reinhardt of Iron Station, and Kelli Walker (Trent) of Cramerton; grandchildren, Katie Walker, Lilian Walker, and Sydney Douglas (Devin); and great-grandchildren, Braxton and Brady Douglas.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ivey Memorial Methodist Church, 1360 Ivey Church Road, Maiden, NC  28650.
