LINCOLNTON, N.C. - Rosa “Tennie” Boyd Isaac, age 80, of Tin Mine Road in Lincolnton, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2024.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at Long Shoals Wesleyan Church with Pastor Jon Mann officiating.  The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Isaac was born January 31, 1944, in Lincoln County, to the late Aaron Boyd and Leona Hudson Isaac.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kasey Berryhill; sister, Ella Mae Boyd; and brothers, Jason Boyd, Marian Boyd, Lee Boyd, Edward Boyd, and Vernon Boyd.  She worked as a CNA and was also the co-owner of Isaac Auto Sales and R&S Rentals. 

She is survived by her husband, Steve A. Isaac of the home; son, Steven Isaac (Shanyn) of Denver; daughters, Sheila Berryhill (Rick) of Vale, and Darleine Bolch (Michael) of Gastonia; five grandchildren, Kayla Carpenter (Brandon), Dylan Carnevale (Kayla), Morgan Carnevale, Trey Bolch, and Alivia Isaac; great-grandchildren, Ryleigh Carnevale, Lilliann Carpenter, Lawson Carpenter, and Messiah Bolch; and sisters, Delton Cozart of Lenoir, and Emma Magee of Lincolnton. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Long Shoals Wesleyan Church, or Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy, 3032 Wesleyan Church Road, Lincolnton, NC  28092.
