Thomas Ray Goodman
April 16, 1942 - July 16, 2024
LINCOLNTON, N.C. - Thomas Ray Goodman, age 82, of Long Shoals Road in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, July 16, 2024.
His funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at the Dallas Church of God with Pastor Brandon Cassell officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:45 p.m. on Saturday at the church. Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 22, 2024, in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Goodman was born April 16, 1942, in Lincoln County, to the late Vernie and Virginia Campbell Goodman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Roger Goodman, James Goodman, Yvonne Canipe, and Gloria Huber. He retired from Timken as a supervisor.
He is survived by his wife Karen Staley Goodman of the home; two sons, Scott Goodman of Lincolnton, and Bryan Goodman (Kimmi) of Harmony; and sister, Connie G. Silva (Brett) of Lincolnton.
Memorials may be made to the Dallas Church of God, Building Fund, 311 S. College Street, Dallas, NC 28034.
