Art Exhibition “Oracle” Opening Reception, Saturday, August 17: The Arts Council of Lincoln County is hosting an Art Exhibition from August 17 through September 20 by artist Donna Downey. Her exhibition is entitled “Oracle” and an Opening Reception will be held Saturday, August 17 from 6-8 p.m. in the Art Gallery of the Lincoln Cultural Center, 403 E. Main St., Lincolnton, NC 28092.
Lincolnton Alive After Five Concert, Thursday, August 22: Come out and join us for a great night of fun and fantastic musical entertainment with Chicago Rewired (Chicago Tribute) on Thursday, August 22 from 7-10 p.m. This is a free concert and you don't want to miss it. The stage is set up in front of the Court House on East Main Street and food trucks will be available. You can also purchase beer and wine at the event (you must be 21 in order to purchase and consume alcohol so make sure you have your ID). No outside alcohol and no dogs are allowed at the event for everyone's safety. Bring your dancing shoes and a friend or two for some summertime excitement! Grape Stomp Festival, August 24-25: Grape Stomp Festival on Saturday, August 24 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and on Sunday, August 25 from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m. at 1350 Woodmill Winery Lane, Vale, NC 28168. There will be 60+ craft vendors for all your shopping pleasures and bouncy houses for the kids to enjoy and food trucks with delicious foods and desserts. Attendees over the age of 21 are welcome to enjoy complimentary wine samplings and may purchase a chilled glass of wine or wine slushies during the event but you MUST HAVE ID. This is a Rain or Shine event, free admission, and family friendly. NO PETS ALLOWED except ADA Service Animals only.
Dancing With Our Stars, Saturday, August 24: Seven local couples dance to win Dancing With Our Stars on Saturday, August 24 at 7 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.) at the James W. Warren Citizens Center, 115 W. Main St., Lincolnton, NC 28092. All seats are $15 and tickets are available now by going to

Lincolnton Food, Wine and Brew Fest, Saturday, September 14 (rescheduled from May 4): Terrific Outdoor Festival featuring NC wineries, local craft breweries, top-notch food trucks, and a mix of regional fine artists. Enjoy an all-day program of entertainment, artists and artisans, and lots of fun set against the backdrop of Historic Downtown Lincolnton! There are activities and offerings for individuals, groups, and families! Due to city regulations and for the animals' safety, no pets, please. If participating in alcohol consumption, please drink responsibly. NOTE: If tickets were purchased for the May 4 event that was cancelled due to the inclement weather – they WILL BE HONORED on September 14.
Cruisin’ for a Cause! Saturday, September 21: The Annual Cruisin’ for a Cause event with classic cars and trucks, live music, beer tents, and for food for purchase is still ONLY $1 5 to cruise and park on Main Street like you use to! OR $5 just to cruise. The event is from 5-10 p.m. and you can come and go as you want. The cruisin’ route is East Main Street from Laurel and around the Court Square! Collect those cruisin’ magnets!
