William Joseph “Willie” Keever
William Joseph “Willie” Keever, age 82, of Lincolnton, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 27, 2025, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Staley officiating. Burial will follow in Hollybrook Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Keever was born September 29, 1942, in Lincoln County, to the late Carl Houston Keever and Mary Abernathy Keever. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Celestine Little Keever; son, Jeffrey Scott Keever; and brother, Johnny Keever. William served in the United States Army, and later worked in furniture manufacturing.
He is survived by a son, David Allen Keever (Melissa Bolin) of Blacksburg, SC; daughter, Tina Keever Cogdill (Jay) of Lincolnton; brothers, Jerry Keever and Darrell Keever, both of Lincolnton; sisters, Linda Keever Tidwell of Vale, Shirley Keever Hedspeth and Patricia Keever, both of Lincolnton; two grandchildren, Joseph Keever (Ashley) and Dustin White (Breezi); and five great-grandchildren, Landon, Bubba, Kaiden, Shaylynn, and Hunter.
Warlick Funeral Home is serving the Keever family.
