WSGE 91.7FM Personalities Team To Support Students With School Supplies

GASTONIA, N.C. - Local radio personalities Joe Mayes (far left of photo) and Judge Jesse Caldwell III (far right of photo) who volunteer at WSGE 91.7FM recently donated a variety of school supplies to support local students.
The generous gifts included Bluetooth computer keyboards, headsets, book bags, and Certificates of Excellence, all aimed at helping students feel prepared, motivated, and confident for the academic year.
Joe Mayes and Judge Jesse Caldwell III continue to prioritize giving back to the community especially when it comes to education.
“We believe that when we invest in our youth, we’re investing in a better future for all,” said Joe Mayes, “It’s always a privilege to support students and help equip them for success.”
The collaboration reflects a shared vision between J&G Fence Company and community leaders to strengthen educational support through meaningful contributions. The initiative not only eases the financial burden on families but also shows students that their community cares.
