BESSEMER CITY, N.C. - Jeffrey “Jeff” Paul Clark, age 69, of Puetts Chapel Road, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

He was born January 10, 1955, in Gaston County to the late Clyne Paul and Peggy Lee Pepper Clark.

Jeff was an Elder with Praise Church and is currently a member of Trinity Assembly of God. Before moving back to Bessemer City, Jeff and Cathy resided in Lexington County, S.C. for 36 years. He retired from Dixie Pipeline after 20 years of service. He also was employed with Hitachi Rail Maintenance Department for several years. In his younger years he enjoyed, and was good at, board games. Jeff was a skilled mechanic and enjoyed restoring older cars. He also loved to travel and looked forward to taking family camping trips to Ocean lakes. Jeff was a wonderful husband, father and brother, and a loving “Paw-Paw” to his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his little Yorkie, Abby.

Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Cathy Moss Clark of the home; sons, Chris Clark, and Brian Clark, both of Gilbert, S.C., and Joshua Clark of Bessemer City; daughter, Danielle Fulmer; sisters, Cynthia Clark of Bessemer City, and Sharon Clark Thornburg (Robert) of Bessemer City; Grandchildren, Kaylee Clark, Alex Clark, Topher Clark, Cooper Fulmer, and Paisley Fulmer; great-granddaughter, Lilliana Peterson; mother-in-law, Carol Moss; and his beloved Yorkie, Gracie.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Trinity Assembly of God with Rev. Tom Mims, Rev. David Spears, and Rev. Eric Griffin officiating. The family will receive friends from 3–3:45 p.m., prior to the service at the church. Burial will be private.
