Joseph Allen Brown, age 62, passed away on October 13, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved him dearly and a lifetime of memories that will forever be treasured.

Though his time on earth has ended, the love he gave, the lessons he taught, and the faith he carried in his heart will continue to live on through all who knew him.

His funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home.

Joseph was a loving husband, a good and devoted father, and a proud grandfather. His family was a blessing in his life, and the love he had for them was a part of who he was. He leaves behind more than memories; he leaves a legacy of love that will continue through the generations of his family.

Joseph was a Christian man whose relationship with God was very close and personal. His faith was an important part of his life, and he found strength in the Lord. As his family remembers him, may they find comfort in that same faith and in the promise of God's everlasting love. Though saying goodbye is never easy, there is peace in trusting that Joseph is now resting in the arms of his Heavenly Father.

A true handyman and jack of all trades, Joseph was a man who could fix just about anything. He was hardworking, resourceful, and always willing to put his hands to work. Whether he was tackling a project or figuring out how to make something work, he had a way of getting things done. Those who knew him will remember his many talents and the unique ability he had to lend a hand when something needed fixing.

Joseph also loved fishing and spending time outdoors. There was something special about being outside, enjoying the peace and beauty of God's creation. Those quiet moments in nature brought him happiness, and the memories made along the way will remain precious to the people who shared them with him.

Joseph leaves behind his beloved wife, Pam Brown; his children, JC Brown (Heather) and Josh Brown; and his cherished grandchildren, Karmen Hunter, Isaiah Brown, Aubrey Brown, and Kinsley Brown. He is also survived by his father, Carroll Brown; his sister, Sharon Brown Tallent (Mitchell); and his brother, Darrin Brown. Each of them holds a special place in his story, and each will carry a piece of his love in their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel Galloway Buzzard, and his brothers, Roger Brown and Theadore Brown.

Although Joseph's family must now learn to live without his physical presence, the love he gave them will never leave. They will remember him in the everyday things—in the projects that need fixing, the peaceful moments spent outdoors, the memories of fishing, and the countless ways he touched their lives. His presence may no longer be seen, but his influence will remain in the hearts of those who loved him.

The days ahead may bring tears, sadness, and moments when his absence feels overwhelming. During those times, may his family lean on their faith, hold one another close, and remember the hope found in God's promises. The same God Joseph loved and trusted will continue to be a source of strength and comfort for those he leaves behind.

As Scripture reminds us in 2 Timothy 4:7-8, the apostle Paul speaks of fighting the good fight, finishing the race, and keeping the faith. May these words serve as a beautiful reminder of the faith Joseph held dear and the hope of eternal life through Jesus Christ.

Joseph Allen Brown was loved deeply, will be missed beyond words, and will never be forgotten. His life was a blessing, his memory a treasure, and his love a gift that his family will carry with them always. Until they meet again, may he rest peacefully in the presence of his Lord and Savior.

Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever in our hearts.
