Crouse UMC “Lighting The Tree” Remembrances Project, Now Through December: Over the past years, at Christmas, the Crouse United Methodist Church/CUMC Outreach Class sponsors “Lighting the Tree” as a project to help support Christian Ministries of Lincoln County. The tree will be up the week following Thanksgiving and will be in the Crouse United Methodist Church Gazebo. Anyone interested in sponsoring a light or lights on the Community Christmas Tree please contact the Outreach Class c/o CUMC, PO Box 43, Crouse, NC 28033 to receive a form which you can use to donate. Each light on the tree signifies a loved one to be honored or remembered. Crouse United Methodist Church is located at 3311 Crouse School Road, Crouse NC. 

McKendree UMC Sunday Luncheon, November 19: McKendree United Methodist Church, 3537 Maiden Highway, Lincolnton, NC 28092 announces its monthly "3rd Sunday Luncheon" on November 19 from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Menu has two entrée choices meat loaf and chicken pot pie, served with sides, homemade biscuits, beverages, and desserts. A requested donation of $8 per plate supports multiple ministries.  Both dine-in and takeout available.

Pleasant Grove UMC Christmas Concert & Tree Lighting, Sunday, November 26: Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 2069 NC-182, Lincolnton, NC 28092 will have a Christmas Concert and Tree Lighting on Sunday, November 26 at 6 p.m. We’ll sing some of our favorite songs inside and then go outside for the Tree Lighting with hot chocolate, cookies and more singing.

Temple Baptist HATS Free Rabies & Microchip Clinic, Saturday, December 2: Helping Animals to Survive (HATS) will have a FREE Rabies Vaccination and Microchip Clinic on Saturday, December 2 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Temple Baptist Church, 3115 NC Hwy 27, Lincolnton, NC 28092. This will be their last clinic for 2023.  Please do not arrive before 8 a.m. Pet owners must be residents of Lincoln County. First come, first served. Dogs must be on leashes and cats must be in carriers. No feral cats. No breeder animals. No rescue group animals. This is for family pets only! Limit four (4) pets per car. Offering: Rabies 1 and 3 year old shots (bring paperwork to get 3 year shot) and Combo distemper vaccines for dogs and cats. This event is being facilitated by HATS (Helping Animals To Survive). The distemper vaccines are courtesy of Petco LOVE. Partial funding is provided through a grant from Lincoln County Community Foundation, an Affiliate of Foundation for the Carolinas. Crouse Baptist Christmas Concert, Saturday, December 2: Everyone is invited to attend and join us in starting off the Christmas Season. The Christmas Concert will be held on Saturday, December 2 at 6 p.m.  featuring Tim Goins, Organist; Sherian Reep, Pianist; Pastor Bob, narrating the Christmas Story; the Crouse Choir; and Congregational Singing. Bethel Baptist Community Breakfast, Saturday, December 7: Join us at Bethel Baptist Church, 200 Bethel Church Rd., Lincolnton, NC 28092 for our Community Breakfast (1st Saturday of every month 7 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.). We will be serving all of your country favorites, along with something sweet and a breakfast casserole! Donations only.

McKendree UMC Breakfast Fundraiser, Saturday, December 9: A Full Breakfast Fundraiser will be held on Saturday, December 9 from 7 to 10 a.m. at McKendree United Methodist Church, 3537 Maiden Hwy., Lincolnton, NC 28092. Requested donation of $7 per person with both dine-in and take-out available. NOTE: McKendree will be hosting these breakfasts the second Saturday of each month until further notice.
