Boger City UMM Meeting, Thursday, February 8: The Boger City United Methodist Men will meet every second Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at Brookwood Café, 220 Providence Mill Road in Maiden for a Dutch treat meal and fellowship. Bethel Baptist Scout Meatloaf Fundraiser, February 9-10: Pack 72 and Troop 72 will be having a meatloaf fundraiser Friday, February 9 and Saturday, February 10 from 10:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. both days. Plates are $12 and it includes meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn, roll, and a dessert. Free delivery is available for large orders. Funds raised will help pay for summer camp/scouting adventures. Temple Baptist, Free HATS Clinic, Saturday, February 10: Helping Animals to Survive (or HATS) will have a FREE vaccine and microchip clinic on Saturday, February 10, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., at Temple Baptist Church, 3115 NC-27 in Lincolnton, NC 28092. Event is a first-come, first-served basis for Lincoln County resident pet-owners. Options of one and three-year rabies shots for cats and dogs. Bring pet’s paperwork. Also offered is a combination vaccination for distemper. Limit of four pets per car and two microchips per household. Dogs must be on leashes, cats must be in carriers. For family pets only! Marvin UMC Mission Meal, Saturday, February 10: Marvin United Methodist Church, 2731 Startown Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092 will host a fundraiser Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday, February 10, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The meal will include spaghetti, green salad, and dessert.  Dine-in or take-out available.  Donations accepted.

First UMC Lincolnton Community Lenten Services, February 14 – March 20: First United Methodist Church, 217 E. Main St., Lincolnton, NC 28092 will host this years’ Community Lenten Services with six participating churches. Services will be held in their fellowship hall every Wednesday from February 14 through March 20. Lunch will begin at noon with worship to follow from 12:30 until 1 p.m. All are welcome.
