LINCOLNTON––The Lentz Recreation Center at Betty G. Ross Park will be used as an early-voting location.

This is germane to this year’s upcoming primary election. According to Lincolnton Parks and Recreation officials, this also means that the gym will be closed from Feb. 14 through March 5. The rec center’s regular schedule will resume on March 6.

Speaking of the gym, the daily open-gym admission fee is $2 for each adult who doesn’t reside in the Lincolnton city limits and is between 18 and 54 years of age. There is no open-gym admission fee for all kids (ages 17 and under), adult city-limits residents (ages 18-54) and all senior adults (ages 55 and over).

Membership identification cards are required to enter the gym. Membership ID cards are made inside the gym lobby at the front desk. An adult must be present to register a minor. ID cards are free for all kids (ages 17 and under). For more information on membership ID cards, be sure to consult the Website at www.ci.lincolnton.nc.us/233/parks-recreation.
