GASTONIA, N.C. - Joshua Scott Solis, age 32, of Gastonia passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024 at Attrium Health – Cleveland in Shelby.

Born October 17, 1991 in Lincoln County, he was the son of Richie Sanborn and Katherine Solis.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother Katherine Solis and husband, Jason Robinson of Gastonia; father Richie Sanborn of Marion; son Jessiah Solis of Gastonia; sister Jessica Sanborn; grandparents Ceidy Gonzalez of Lincolnton, Juan Cruz of Lincolnton, Elaine and Donnie Sanborn of Iron Station; and two nephews Elijah Edwards and Noah Sanborn.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, February 23, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Spirit Life Church of God 1424 Wilma Sigmon Rd., Lincolnton, NC 28092 with Pastor Daniel Perry officiating.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1-1:45 p.m. at the church.

Burke Mortuary of Maiden, N.C. is serving the Solis family.
