DENVER, N.C. - Jeffery “Jeff” Leon Coker, 59, of Denver, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024 at Carolina Caring Sherrills Ford Hospice House.

He was born April 6, 1964 in Kane County, Ill. to the late Coy Leon Coker and Ruby Louise Davidson Coker. Jeff was a member of Friendly Chapel Baptist Church in Maiden and retired as a flight attendant.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Catherine Ann Glasco.

Those left to cherish his memory are his brothers David Coker and wife Debbie of Batesville, Ark.,      Steven Kearbey of Elgin, Ill.; brother-in-law Loran Gene Glasco of Denver; nephews Loran Gene Glasco Jr., Anthony Kearby, Christopher Kearby, Brian Kearby, and Jason Coker; and grand-nephew Alec Marcus Glasco.

A graveside service to celebrate Jeff’s life will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Friendly Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in Maiden. Rev. Jeff Harris will officiate.
