DENVER, N.C. – Hart Square Village located in Vale in Lincoln County is the nation’s largest log cabin museum from the 18th and 19th century.

On Monday, June 10 at 7 p.m. the public is invited to hear Lorissa Vines, Hart Square’s Development Director present a program on Hart Square for the Eastern Lincoln Historical Society at the Mundy House Annex.

Hart Square Village holds over 100 historic log structures and a modern Education Center, which provides the modern infrastructure needed to share the village with you and your family regularly. 

The Education Center also houses the Hart Square Craft School, dedicated to preserving historic arts and trades. Each cabin appears an if a pioneer just got up and walked out moments prior. All of the cabins were rescued from the Piedmont and Western regions of North Carolina.

This program is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

Historic Mundy House Tours June – August

DENVER, N.C. – Come visit Historic Mundy each Saturday through August 31 this summer. Tours are available by The Mundy Girls (Lona, Nell, Edwina, Georgia, Jean, Billie Ruth, Margaret and Corinne) at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 12 noon.
