LINCOLNTON, N.C. - Mr. Joel “Uncle Joe” Ransom, 73, of Lincolnton transitioned peacefully on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Atrium Health – Cleveland, Shelby surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Brooklyn, New York on March 24, 1951 to the late Pauline Ransom Yarborough.  Joel was a faithful member of Providence Missionary Baptist Church.

Funeral Service will be Friday, May 17, 2024 at 3 p.m. at Providence Missionary Baptist Church with burial to follow in Hollybrook Cemetery. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service.

There will be a public walkthrough on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at the Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m.
