The late Johnny Colvard is joined here by his wife, Vickie. Mr. Colvard passed away in 2022, but his legacy lives on at Love Memorial Elementary School.

Johnny Colvard, the much-loved phys-ed coach at the school who also spent some three decades as a respected staffer of the Lincoln County Schools, will have the school’s gymnasium dedicated in his memory on Oct. 15 at 3 p.m.
