Black Patriots of the American Revolution

African Americans were also important to the cause of American independence although their contributions have largely been overlooked. In this, another in the series of articles from the SAR & DAR leading up to America's 250th birthday in 2026, Jennifer Baker recalls some of the efforts of the black patriots of the American Revolution.
