The County purchased the old AMC Theater building on N. Aspen Street in November along with some six acres of adjacent land for $850,000...considered a bargain price compared to other real estate in the area.

No Decision on Library Yet
At the end of the Lincoln County Commissioners special meeting to work on the fiscal 2025 budget, Commission Chairman Carrol Mitchem urged reporters to make sure the public understands "no decision has been made on a new Lincolnton library yet!"
